21. Testing of samples.

Where seed samples are required by seeds regulations1 to be tested, they must be sent either to official testing stations2 or to other establishments licensed for the testing of seeds3. The Secretary of State and the Welsh Ministers are required to maintain the official seed testing stations originally established for England and Wales under former legislation4. The Secretary of State and the Welsh Ministers may also unite with the Scottish Ministers in establishing and maintaining, on such terms as may be agreed between them, a common official seed testing station for the whole of Great Britain
