The marketing1 of plant material intended for the propagation2 or production of ornamental plants3 is controlled by regulations with which all suppliers4 are required to comply5. The regulations provide for the registration of suppliers6, make provision for the marketing of propagating material by reference to its variety7, require such material to be marketed in lots8, prohibit the marketing of unhealthy or inferior material9, require suppliers to maintain the standards of material10, control the importation of propagating material from third countries11, and make provision as to the information accompanying marketed material
