For the purpose of determining whether any of the powers conferred by the Agriculture Act 19471 are to be exercised in relation to land, or whether any direction given under any such power has been complied with, any person authorised to do so by the Secretary of State or the Welsh Ministers2 has power at all reasonable times to enter on and inspect any land3. In the case of land which is used for residential purposes, 24 hours' notice must be given to the occupier4. In all other cases notice must be given to the occupier that it is
