Subject to certain exceptions1, all injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences are required to be notified to the Health and Safety Executive2. Records must also be kept of events or diseases which are so notified3.
An inquest into a death which may have been caused by an accident occurring in the course of agricultural operations must be adjourned unless a representative of the Executive is present to watch the proceedings, and the Executive must be given at least four days' notice of the time and place of the adjourned inquest
