The Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (the 'Authority')1 may grant a gangmaster's licence2 if it thinks fit3, and a licence must describe the activities authorised by it4. A licence is granted subject to certain conditions5 and the Authority can also impose such additional conditions as it thinks fit6.
There is a right of appeal against any decision of the Authority as to the conditions to which the grant of a licence is subject7.
