115.     Execution of control by local authorities.

A competent authority1 may require a local authority2 to carry into effect any order relating to the control of pests3 and may, with the consent of the local authority, require a local authority to pay compensation in respect of any crop4, or any seed, plant or part thereof, which is removed or destroyed in pursuance of any such order5.
