A 'feed business emergency prohibition notice' is a notice which may be served1 on a feed business operator2 if an authorised officer of an enforcement authority3 is satisfied that there is an imminent risk of injury to health (that is, that the 'health risk condition' is fulfilled)4 with respect to any relevant feed business5. A 'feed business emergency prohibition order' is an order which must be made by a magistrates' court which is satisfied, on the application of an authorised officer, that there is such a risk6.
