Consequent to the UK's withdrawal from the EU, this Halsbury paragraph should be read in conjunction with the Food (Miscellaneous Amendments) (Wales) (EU Exit) (No 2) Regulations 2019, SI 2019/1046, pending incorporation of the changes into the text.

Provision is made by EU legislation, implemented in the UK by statutory instrument, for the authorisation, labelling and control of feed additives1. The statutory instruments make it an offence for a person to contravene or fail comply with such EU provisions that regulate additives for use in animal nutitutrion2 and which concern the following3:
