Compensation is payable by the Secretary of State and the Welsh Ministers1 in respect of pecuniary loss suffered by persons by reason of their being required, in consequence of the making of an order prohibiting absolutely the keeping of any destructive animal2, to destroy animals kept for profit and in respect of the value of any structure or equipment which is rendered useless or of less utility by reason of such a prohibition3.
