174. Board's trading powers and ancillary provisions.

Subject to the approval of the Secretary of State and the Welsh Ministers1, a marketing scheme2 may make provision empowering the board3 to buy the regulated product4, to produce specified commodities from that product, and to sell, grade, pack, store, adapt for sale, insure, advertise and transport the regulated product and any commodity produced from it by the board5. The board may also be empowered to buy from a board administering a corresponding scheme6, and to exercise powers similar to those mentioned above in respect of anything so bought, or act as agent for the board administering the other
