Until a day to be appointed, the following provisions apply in relation to Wales1.
Officers may be appointed2 for the purpose of investigating complaints and otherwise securing the proper observation of the Agricultural Wages Act 19483.
Provided there are no corresponding or similar powers under the National Minimum Wage Act 1998 exercisable for that purpose4, such an officer may:
(1) require the production of, and inspect and take copies of, wages sheets or other records of wages paid to workers employed in agriculture or of any records of terms and conditions of employment of such workers5;
(2) enter any premises or
