278.     Appeals.

An appeal lies from a decision of the Controllers1 or Comptroller General of Patents2 under the provisions concerning compulsory plant variety licences3, and an appeal may be brought to the court4 from a decision of the Comptroller General relating to a cross licence ordered to be granted to the holder of a Community plant variety right5 to use a biotechnological invention6 protected by a patent7.
