Where a sample of any material has been taken pursuant to the request of a purchaser1, the inspector2 may be required to send the part that he has retained3 to the Government Chemist for analysis4. This course of action may be requested by the purchaser, the person who sold the material to him or any other person against whom a claim may lie in respect of the sale of the material in question5. When a part is sent to the Government Chemist he must analyse it in such manner, if any, as may be prescribed
