An Agricultural Marketing Fund, administered and controlled by the Secretary of State1, has been established for the purpose of making loans to boards administering agricultural marketing schemes2. Such sums as Parliament may from time to time determine may be paid into the fund out of money provided by Parliament3; the fund may also be reduced if the Secretary of State thinks fit4, although he is not thereby authorised to wind up the fund5.
