704. Resumption of possession by superior owner where land held by authority for allotments purposes.

Where land1 has been let to a district, parish, London borough, or, in Wales, a community, county or county borough council2, or an association3, for the purpose of being sublet for use as allotment gardens4, or is occupied by a council under its power to enter unoccupied land5, and the landlord6, or the person who, but for such occupation, would be entitled to possession, proposes to resume possession for any particular purpose, written notice of that purpose must be given to the council or association
