Where a landlord1 of an agricultural holding2 is entitled to receive the rents and profits otherwise than for his own benefit, whether as trustee or otherwise, he is not liable to pay any sum agreed or awarded under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 to be paid to the tenant3 or awarded under that Act to be paid by the landlord, and it is not recoverable from him personally4.
