A Rural Development Board may carry out or commission the carrying out of inquiries, investigations and researches in connection with its functions1. It may in writing authorise a person to enter2 on any land in the board's area3 to determine whether, and in what way, the functions of the board should be exercised4; on leaving the land such person must leave it as effectively secured against trespassers as he found it5. A board may by notice require a landowner or occupier in its area
