Where the landlord1 has given notice to quit2 which falls within Case G3, that notice is effective provided no application to succeed to the tenancy4 has been made within the required time5 or, such application having been made, either no applicant is found by the Tribunal6 to be suitable7, or alternatively the tribunal has consented8 to the operation of the notice to quit9.
