Where an order for the compulsory hiring of land1 has been made2, and where necessary confirmed3, the council4 entitled to hire the land under the order may, at any time after a notice to treat has been served5, and on giving not less than 14 days' notice to each owner6, lessee and occupier of the land, enter on and take possession of the land or such part thereof as is specified in the notice without previous consent or compliance with the statutory provisions relating to entry on land compulsorily acquired7.
