A direction by the Tribunal1 entitling the applicant or applicants to a tenancy2 of the holding3 entitles him or them to a tenancy or joint tenancy as from the relevant time4, on the same terms as those on which the holding was let immediately before it ceased to be let under the contract of tenancy5 under which it was let at the date of death6.
If on the date of death, the holding was held by the deceased for a fixed term of years and the holding is subject to a direction of entitlement to succession, the tenancy takes effect
