Special rules apply to the assessment of compensation where in pursuance of any enactment providing for the acquisition or taking of possession compulsorily an acquiring authority1 either acquires the interest of the landlord2 in an agricultural holding3 to which the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 applies, or any part of it4, or acquires the interest of the tenant5 in, or takes possession of, an agricultural holding or any part of it6.
In the case of a payment by the acquiring authority to the landlord, in assessing the compensation, there must be disregarded any right of the landlord to serve a notice
