Case A applies to a holding let on or after 12 September 19841 as a smallholding by a smallholdings authority2, the Secretary of State or the Welsh Ministers3 in pursuance of statutory provisions relating to smallholdings4 where:
(1) the tenant5 has attained the age of 656;
(2) if the result of the notice to quit taking effect would be to deprive the tenant of living accommodation occupied by him under the tenancy, suitable alternative accommodation is or will be available for him when the notice takes effect7; and
(3) the instrument under which the tenancy was granted contains an
