Where in pursuance of any enactment providing for the acquiring or taking of possession1 of land compulsorily an acquiring authority2 acquires from the tenant3 the interest in an agricultural holding4 or any part of an agricultural holding governed by the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986, 5or takes possession of the holding or any part of it, additional compensation6 is payable, subject to specified limitations7, as if the acquiring authority were the landlord8 and compensation for disturbance had become payable9, subject to supplementary provisions relating to assessment and payment of compensation10.
