Where a person has executed or purported to execute an instrument with a view to creating a lasting power of attorney1, or an instrument has been registered as a lasting power of attorney2 conferred by that person3, the court4 may determine any question as to the meaning or effect of the power or an instrument purporting to create one5, and if the court determines that a lasting power contains a provision which is ineffective as part of a lasting power or prevents the instrument from operating as a valid lasting power it must either notify the Public Guardian6 that
