Register of Members: Index

Where the company has more than 50 members it must, unless the register is so kept as to constitute in itself an index, keep an index of the names of the members, which must be corrected within 14 days of any alteration in the register. The index must suffice to enable the account of any member to be readily found, and must at all times be kept at the same place as the register.1 The index, like the register itself, may also be kept in electronic form.
