6 Contents of petition

The petition should state the authority by which it is submitted, and give details of the appropriate resolutions of the petitioning organisation, for example resolutions approving the petition and procedures relating to the submission of the petition1, together with the date of the meeting at which such resolutions were passed, and should state, if such is the case, that the resolutions were passed unanimously. The petition should also contain all the relevant facts to enable the Privy Council to make a recommendation to the Sovereign in Council. These facts should include:
