12 Illegitimate and legitimated children

The Family Law Reform Act 1987 provides that references to any relationship between two persons are to be construed, unless a contrary intention appears, without regard to whether or not the father and mother of either of them, or the father and mother of any person through whom the relationship is deduced, have been or had been married to each other at any time1.
