58 Exclusion of mining leases from legislation applicable to other leases

Neither the Landlord and Tenant Act 1927 Part I1, which provides for compensation for improvements effected by tenants of business premises, nor the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 Part II2, which provides for security of tenure for business, professional and other tenants, applies to mining leases as defined by the Landlord and Tenant Act 1927 Section 253. Mining leases as so defined are also excluded by the Landlord and Tenant Act 19274 from the provisions of:

        the Landlord and Tenant Act 1927 Section 19(1)(b), which provides for the
