6 Dealings with markets and market places

A market or fair must be distinguished from the market place or place for holding a fair. The two are distinct legal interests and may be vested in different persons by different titles1. A transfer of a market will not, therefore, necessarily pass the market place, nor will a transfer of the market place necessarily pass the market2.
