93 Public reading or recitation

A reading or recitation in public by one person of a reasonable extract from a published literary or dramatic work is permitted if accompanied by a sufficient acknowledgement1. A sound recording, or communication to the public which includes a reading or recitation which is permitted under this provision will not be an infringement of copyright if it consists mainly of material in relation to which it is not necessary to rely on this provision2.
