92 Use of notes or recordings of spoken words

Where a record of spoken words is made, whether or not in writing, for the purpose:

  1. 92.1

        of reporting current events; or

  2. 92.2

        of communicating to the public the whole or part of the work;

then it is not an infringement of any copyright in the words as a literary work to use the record or material taken from it (or to copy the record or such material, and use the copy) for that purpose1, subject to compliance with the following conditions:
