61 Libraries, archives and museums

For the purposes of Sections 40A to 43 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, the term ‘library’ means a library which is accessible to the public or a library of an educational establishment1 and the term ‘museum’ includes a gallery2. ‘Conducted for profit’, in relation to a library, archive or museum, means a library, archive or museum which is established or conducted for profit or which forms part of, or is administered by, a body established or conducted for profit3.
