41.2 Possessing or dealing with infringing copy

Copyright in a work is infringed by a person who, without the licence of the copyright owner:

  1. 41.2.1

        possesses in the course of a business1;

  2. 41.2.2

        sells or lets for hire or offers or exposes for sale or hire2;

  3. 41.2.3

        in the course of a business3 exhibits in public or distributes4; or

  4. 41.2.4

        distributes otherwise than in the course of a business5 to such an extent as to affect prejudicially the copyright owner6

an article which is, and which he knows or has reason
