It has often been argued that by posting material on a website, which is by its very nature globally accessible, implied consent is given for any subsequent dealings with this material. Whereas there is a strong argument that consent is indeed implied for any copying incidental to and for the purposes of the access and viewing of the material1, any further or other copying or distribution is likely to constitute infringement, unless such use is specifically authorised.
