220 Right to dispose of stock

It has been held that where a publisher has a right to publish a work for a limited period of time, he is entitled after the expiry of that period to continue to sell any remaining stock of the work, provided that he has not manufactured more copies than he was permitted to do under his contract with the author1. There is no reason in principle why this should not apply after the termination of a publishing agreement otherwise than by reason of expiry of the term. This may be covered expressly
