209 Dealings with database right

The provisions in the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 in relation to assignment, licensing and prospective ownership of copyright and transmission of copyright in an unpublished work apply to the database right and databases as they apply in relation to copyright and copyright works1. Referrals to the Copyright Tribunal in respect of licensing schemes is also provided for2.
