‘Film’ is defined in the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as ‘a recording on any medium from which a moving image may by any means be produced’1 and would include CD-ROMs, video tape, video discs and any other means of recording, whether now existing or developed in the future, from which a moving image may be reproduced.
