180.7 Assertion of right

The right to be identified as author or director is not infringed unless the right has been asserted in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 Section 781.

The right may be asserted generally, or in relation to any specified act or acts:

  1. 180.7.1

        on an assignment of copyright in the work, by including in the form of assignment a statement that the author or director asserts in relation to that work his right to be identified, in which case the assignee and anyone claiming through him is bound2 and;

  2. 180.7.2

        in writing signed by
