152 Inquiry into whether new scheme or licence is required

The Secretary of State may appoint a person to inquire into whether a new licensing scheme or general licence is required to authorise reprographic copying by or on behalf of an educational establishment for the purpose of instruction of works of a description which are not already covered by an existing licensing scheme or general licence and are not covered by the Secretary of State’s power to extend existing schemes and licences1. Regulations will provide for the procedure to be followed with regard to notification of interested parties
