4: REFERENCES AND APPLICATIONS WITH RESPECT TO LICENSING SCHEMES

130 Licensing schemes

Provision is made in the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 for references and applications to the Copyright Tribunal1 in connection with certain licensing schemes. The schemes to which these provisions of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 19882 apply are those licensing schemes operated by licensing bodies which cover works of more than one author, so far as they relate to licences for:

  1. 130.1

        copying the work;

  2. 130.2

        rental or lending of copies of the work to the public;

  3. 130.3

        performing, playing or showing
