120 Lending to public of copies of certain works

The Secretary of State may provide by Order under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 that in specified cases, the lending to the public of copies of a literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work, sound recording or film shall be treated as licensed by the copyright owner subject only to payment of a reasonable royalty or other payment agreed between the parties, or in the absence of agreement as determined by the Copyright Tribunal to be reasonable in the circumstances1.
