The transitional provisions of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 19881 preserve the provisions of the Copyright Act 1911 relating to the reversionary interest in copyright2 but only in respect of an assignment of or the grant of an interest in the copyright in a literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work where the assignment was made or the interest was granted by the author between the date of passing of the Copyright Act 19113 and the commencement of the Copyright Act 19564.
