51 Effect of payment or security

Where a sum has been paid or secured1 by the owner of land for the carrying out of street works, the liability of that owner or any subsequent owner in respect of the expense of the street works2 under the appropriate private street works code3 is, with regard to the frontage in respect of which a sum was paid or security given, deemed to be discharged to the extent of that sum4.
