69 Russia: term of protection

The exclusive rights in relation to a copyright work subsist for a period equal to the life of the author plus 70 years from 1 January of the year following the year of the author’s death1. In the case of a work created by co-authors the period is calculated with reference to the death of the last surviving author2. For an anonymous work the period is 70 years from the date of first publication3, but if the identity of the author becomes known within such period the term of protection will be calculated with reference
