420 Individual artist's profit

As ‘profit’ is such an arbitrary term, the extent and degree of any individual profit participant’s right to share in the profits depends on the terms negotiated. In any film, although it is probable that all net profit participants would have initially been offered the same definition, they may all have been negotiated differently and the producer may have to work out a different set of figures for each individual.
