401 Product liability and warranties on sale of goods and services

The Consumer Protection Act 1987 contains provisions that cover product liability. The Act provides that, where a defective product is supplied, a number of different categories of persons will be liable. The Act also makes it an offence to give a misleading price indication in respect of goods, facilities, services or accommodation.
