376 Rights

The rights which a company grants to a distributor under a distribution agreement will be for a defined term and will extend throughout a designated territory. Frequently, the distributor will wish to distribute all works owned or controlled by the company. It may be preferable for the company to limit the scope of the agreement to designated imprints, which will leave the company with some flexibility if the company wishes to expand or widen its activities in the future.
