360 Apportionment of fees

A similar point arises on the calculation of television licence fees where these may be apportioned not only between different films but also between different repeat showings of the same film. What for example is the position where a television station pays an advance entitling it to three showings of a film and only screens it twice? Assuming the licence fee is apportioned equally in respect of each screening, at which point can the producer require the distributor to bring the final one third of the fee into account?
