354 Distribution fees

The amount of distribution fees payable under film distribution agreements will vary between 30% and 50%, depending on the medium and territory. A distributor may occasionally agree to vary the fee income by deferring part of a fee until a pre-specified point, or alternatively a distributor may agree to a fee calculated on a sliding scale which reduces as income from the film rises.
