There are approximately 40 major distribution territories in the world accounting between them for around 20 languages. The most important distribution territory is the United States of America. The high cost of dubbing films into foreign languages prohibits the production of foreign language versions for every territory. The main dubbing languages are French, German, Italian and Spanish.
